RUN THE RACE OF FAITH
The Lord has gone ahead of you and has finished the race on your behalf. He has won the ultimate victor’s crown for you. It was completed so that you could receive all which belongs to you, as a child of God. Jesus has put all things under His feet and has made a way for you to be victorious. Run the race of faith by not giving up on God’s faithfulness. Stay out of the loser’s lane, which is for the enemy and his cohorts. When doubt approaches, run from it with faith. When the enemy floods you with fear, run from it with courage. When you hear that you are not good enough, will never measure up, or why you can’t achieve it, speak forth your true identity in Christ. Hold every thought captive to the authority of Christ Jesus, that will silence the lies of the enemy. When you feel overwhelmed, run into the Father’s arms for comfort and care. He knows how to provide for your every need. Run to God when you don’t have the answer, and when you are surrounded by voices trying to entangle you and cause you to stumble. The Lord has the solution for every problem. He upholds you with His righteous right hand and will not allow you to fall. The enemy wants to trip your feet and get you off the path that the Lord has prepared for you. Keep running and do not swerve off the track. Neither look to the right or to the left, but straight ahead, where you have the winner’s victory, in all circumstances, through Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
