We were fashioned by the Master Builder and He has provided us with everything needed for the journey. The Holy Spirit, our compass, guides us as we navigate the vast sea of life. Well fueled by the Holy Spirit, we have been empower to do what we could not do alone, with out God. (Acts 1:8).
Equipped with heavy artillery for warfare, our ship has all the weaponry required to shield us from, and destroy the enemy forces that try to get us off coarse. Our weapons are not physical, but mighty for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Focused on the Word of God, as the light before our path, it is our lighthouse, in the dark of the night, keeping us safe, especially in rough waters (Psalm 119:105).
The anchor positions the ship from drifting away, when it must remain steadfast and immovable. According to Hebrews 6:19-20, hope in Jesus is the anchor of our soul. He has made a way for us and goes before our Father on our behalf. He is our confident assurance and in whom we put our hope and trust for all of life’s circumstances
When we ask Jesus to become the captain of our ship, He promises to carry us to where we could not get to on our own. He takes us on the best route to our destiny, and as we follow His leading, our life becomes a testimony for His glory.
