Psalm 139:14
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, this I know full well.
Created with such beauty and delicate details, the butterfly serves as just one example of the marvelous works of God. As a caterpillar, it goes through the metamorphic stage before it is transformed into a butterfly; it’s new identity. A reflection of God’s handiwork, this creature’s beautiful multicolored wings develop in the chrysalis, preparing for the flight of new and higher territory. With hopeful expectation, it steadily presses through the confines of the chrysalis. As its true potential is realized, the butterfly spreads it’s wings and soars.
The time spent in the hidden place, was not wasted, but a valuable place of growth and renewal. At times, looking from the outside, no one could fully see the metamorphism taking place. When the time arrived to emerge into destiny, it had been empowered to experience life from a higher altitude and to go far beyond what it had previously known.
Did you know, that the butterfly, though so marvelous and beautiful, as a child of child, you are the most marvelous of all other creations? And like the butterfly, you are being transformed by God into a marvelous new identity in Christ Jesus. You are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). The old image has passed away and you are recreated in His likeness.
As a baby in your mother’s womb, God carefully, skillfully and intentionally knitted you together (Psalm 139:13). Every part of your body, spirit and soul. Before you grew in our mother’s womb, you first originated in God’s mind and then grew in His womb of creation.
He calls you His very own marvelous-wonder-of-works miracle! A workmanship and masterpiece beautifully hand crafted by the Master Artist Himself. He created you to stand out from all the rest of His other creations. Every detail about you was meticulously designed unlike anyone else and there is no comparison. You became His very own forever beloved child.
He calls you delighted in, His royal heir and the apple of His eye. He loves spending time with you and really likes all of your unique qualities. He calls you His friend. You bring much joy to Him and a put a big smile on His face when He looks at you. He loves to hear the sweet sound of your voice talking with Him. There is no more delightful sound to your Father than when you call him. He likes spending time with you and every moment spent with you is His favorite moment.
The day you were fashioned, God stood back in wonderment at the marvelous you! And this is how He ALWAYS sees YOU, 100% of the time. He ALWAYS marvels over YOU!
